CNN legitimaizes Geekologie, but does it matter?

CNN cited Geekologie as a legitimate source with regards to the dumbass who fell in a manhole while texting yesterday.

And while I applaud my beloved Geek, I have to ask: Is CNN a legitimate news source?

They cite Twitter for Thor’s sake!

I could just imagine what it must be like to intern there: “Hey Alessandra, no one really has anything today can you just look through your Facebook news feed and Twitter updates to see if we can find something?”

Seriously?

If Geekologie gets news before CNN does then I don’t think it should need CNN’s recognition, it’s already ballin’ on its own!

Today’s post has been brought to you by exclamation points!!!!!!!!!

As if people didn’t have enough reason to be psychotic, there will now be a reality TV show dedicated to stalking celebrities via Twitter.

Are you kidding?

This has to be one of the most asinine things that will be on television. (Except for, perhaps, I Love New York 2).

My hope for society grows ever dismal. Fuck Twitter. Fuck trashy reality TV. This is not the kind of culture I want to be a part of.
